Privacy policy
Effective:
Designs for Everyone respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It's written in plain language, as the law requires.
What we collect
Only what you send us yourself through the contact form:
- your name;
- your email address;
- the content of your message.
Nothing else. This site never asks for your mailing address, phone number, or any payment information.
Why we collect it
To answer your message. That's it. We don't add you to a mailing list and we don't send you advertising.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't trade or rent it to anyone.
- We don't use cookies on this site.
- We don't track you across other websites.
Visit statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It uses no cookies, builds no profile, and cannot identify you. No personal information is collected for this purpose.
Who else has access
To run the site and reply to you, we rely on:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site, routes contact-form messages and screens out automated submissions (Turnstile);
- Resend, which delivers form messages to our inbox;
- Google (Gmail), where we read your messages.
These companies are located outside Quebec, primarily in the United States. Your information is therefore transferred there and may be subject to the laws of those countries. We choose providers that are contractually committed to protecting this information and not using it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form messages for 12 months after our last exchange with you, then delete them. If your message leads to an order, records relating to that order may be kept longer where the law requires it (tax and accounting obligations).
Your rights
At any time, you may:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have it corrected if it's inaccurate or incomplete;
- request its deletion;
- withdraw your consent to its use;
- receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format;
- file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec if our response doesn't satisfy you.
We respond to requests within 30 days.
