At home
What we make for the home almost always starts the same way: an everyday object that could be better made. A cutting board that won't warp. A knife block that fits in a drawer instead of taking up the counter. We work mostly in wood — birch, linden, maple, walnut — with 3D printing and laser engraving where they do the job better.
Kitchen
Birch cutting boards, finished with mineral oil and beeswax. Knife blocks, on the counter or in the drawer. A paper towel holder, a custom spice rack, engraved coasters. The wood is chosen for the job: linden for its fine grain, maple and walnut when the piece calls for contrast.
Desk
A wrist rest built to your keyboard, pen and pencil holders, a sticky-note holder with stencils. These sit on a desk all day, so they have to hold up — and not slide when you lean on them.
Small pieces
A scrunchie holder, reusable gift card holders, a Christmas Eve plate. Small pieces, often engraved, often given as gifts.
The geeky corner
There's also the geekier corner of the workshop, the part we do for the fun of it: display models, 3D printed, cleaned up and assembled by hand. Ships and figurines, on their own or as a set of three.
Custom work
A good share of what we make started as a request. If you have something in mind — a specific size, a particular wood, an engraving — write to us. That's often how the products that end up in the shop begin.
